Transfuser2 as a Cinematic Hybrid Scoring Tool/Instrument

Being that we are in the middle of some crazy Black Friday sales, I have checked out several of the Hybrid Scoring instruments that are currently offered at somewhat reasonable prices. Since it's very easy to fall into the trap of buying stuff that you might not really need, I did a ton of research on each of the sample libraries that I was interested in getting, as I do every year when the Black Friday sales come around. I don't have that much money for plugins anyway and I try to always get the best bang for my bucks. I also NEVER use cracks of any kind so every purchase counts.

So anyway, I watched some 'walkthrough' videos for libraries such as Project Alpha, Project Bravo, Juggernaut, Rise and Hit, Damage, etc. I found that all of them have very similar sounds and features. I also felt that I had most of the sounds I was hearing already. I noticed that they all have a sequencer of some sort, a sampler, MIDI and Audio drag and drop and some nice built in effects such as gates, delays, reverbs, glitch, etc. Then I realized something... these were exactly the same features that Transfuser2 has! I came up with the conclusion that I could emulate what these hybrid libraries were doing all within Transfuser, and that I didn't necessarily need to purchased yet another sample library. Then I got the idea that I could even purchase a lower priced sample/loop/Rex library of Cinematic impacts/risers/hits and import those into Transfuser. I found a bunch of cinematic packs from Prime Loops that fit the bill perfectly, all of which are currently 50% off of their normal price, bringing them down to around $12 - $25.. Yeah.. that's more like it.. With some Googling, I even found some free cinematic sample packs that sound really cool!

In short, I would advise anyone reading this to not get too caught up in this 'sale season'. Take a step back, breathe a little and check out the walkthrough videos so that you know exactly what you're getting. If you own the AIEP, then you already have a lot of great tools/sounds. Loom surprisingly has some really nice risers and atmospherics sounds. All of the synths have really nice percussive sounds and FX.
