I just purchased PT 11 two months ago and a Lynx Aurora 16 Thunderbolt.
I'm working in a Windows 8.1 machine with only Protools installed. Intel 4770k processor, 8 GB RAM, Gigabyte Z87x UD7TH mobo.
Everything seems to work fine, but every time I have to change sample rates when opening a session, Pro Tools changes to a WRONG sample rate (even when the correct one is selected in the Aurora prior to opening Pro Tools) and the session closes with the message:
"Pro tools could not set your audio device to the correct sample rate..."
This is a nightmare. I spend more time thrashing preferences, restarting the machine and restoring the Aurora to factory settings than working in my sessions.
Lynx suggested it is responsibility of Protools not changing sample rates correctly -which seems logical as the Aurora works perfectly when changing sample rates in Windows-.
I really need help. Several clients waiting for the sessions and all workflow stoppped or slowed to the minimum... :(((((
