Playback freezes PT 10.3.10 after quantizing

I am running PT 10.3.10 on a PC with Windows 7 64 bit SP-1, 8 GB ram, and an i5-3350P quad core processor. I have done all optimizations, and my audio is on a separate hard drive that meets Avid's specs for such. I have two tracks in the sessions in question, a stereo instrument track with Addictive Drums on it, and a mono audio track with bass guitar on it. Besides Addictive Drums, there are no other plugins on the sessions. I set up the bass guitar track elastic audio monophonic and quantized it. Then I hit playback. The song played for about 3 seconds and Pro Tools froze up completely. I tried this on two other sessions that were set up exactly the same, and the exact same thing happened both times. In nearly three years of using Pro Tools (starting with MP9), this has never happened to me before, and when I searched this discussion, this problem didn't pop up. Does anyone have an ideas? Thanks.
