Pro Tools 8.0.4...Need help on which OS will support this on Macbook

I'm just getting my feet wet into the wild, wonderful world of Pro Tools!



Anyway, this is what I have:



-Pro Tools 8.0.4



-Mbox 2 Mini



-Axiom Pro-61





Like most newbies just getting started I've been reading message boards (including this one for sure!) like mad and I just need to clear the confusion on this subject.



I intend to buy a Macbook Pro to run Pro Tools on. I've read a couple of comments in regards to which OS will support Pro Tools 8.0.4.



*One comment I read said, "the last OS Pro Tools 8 supported was Leopard"...



*Another said, "Only Mac OS X version 10.4.7 and lower are compatible with Pro Tools Le.



*And the final comment said, "Mac OS X 10.5.5 or higher (Leopard) (Pro Tools LE 8.0 is not compatible with any version of Leopard earlier than this one)



Forgive my ignorance on the subject but that's why I'm here.....a lot of this stuff is still way over my head. I'm sure I want a Macbook Pro, I just need to know which OS I need and be sure it's the right one. Thanks
