Stupid Question about Clip Definitions

Embarrassingly, I am a bit confused by how to export clip definitions to anywhere besides the session audio files folder. ProTools defaults to this.



Do I just need to suck it up and export the clip as a file to an external place, or is there a way to export the clip definitions to the original location of the parent file BEFORE it was imported to Pro Tools?
