Hi I am trying to get my casio CTK-720 midi keyboard to work in PT Express which I have just got. it worked in an old PT LE version.
It is connected via a USB cable to my laptop.
I have MBox 3G connected.
When I try to run it as a midi track I can hear it through the headphones & record but it won't let me put any inserts in- the inserts are blanks.
I have tried using it as an instrument track but can't get it to record anything.
I have updated the driver, which shows as casio keyboard on my drivers in control panel.
I don't really know how to set the keyboard up in PT. Avid Customer Assists suggested I speak to Casio but presumably I am missing something in PT Express to use it properly?
Anyone got any ideas? I have read other posts & tried those suggestions but with no luck.
i am using PT Express 10.3.4
on a HP intel 5 CPU 2.67Ghz laptop
4GB RAM
500GB HD
Running Windows 7 64bit, SP1
Thanks
Christian
