Hello
I am wondering what you all think about the use of Multi tracks when it comes to midi or basic loops?
If I am making a rap song for example and the drums are Kick Kick Snare Kick and it loops for 2 minutes do I really need the kick and snare on multiple tracks or can I just make it a stereo file? Is there any disadvantage to not having it a multi track? I've seen some sessions in Reason where all the drums are in the same midi track and I've also seen some sessions in pro tools where the background vocals and harmonies were later sent to one stereo track rather than having the background vocals and harmonies on separate tracks
