Mbox pro input distortion

I'm fairly new to the AVID world. I have an Mbox Pro 3rd gen, and its worked wonderful for me for a year now, but recently it has gone crazy...



One day it decided that all of the inputs would be horribly distorted. Im not connected to pro tools (that doesn't help). This issue is happening in standalone mode also.



I soon noticed that the software returns were working fine, i could stream music fine..... for a while..... after using higher amounts of computer power including streaming music or gaming online..... It started..... All of the inputs started to jump at the same time making a horrible popping sound, they all pop at the same time and slowly get faster until its one super fast pop, almost a hum...



I am soon going to be going to college and would sure like a working interface to record with since I'm going to be in the Music Industry.... I also record clients currently and have had to postpone recording times because of this.... PLEASE HELP
