Solution To Strange Performance Issue with Eucon 3.1.2

Hello Fellow Artists,

I am posting this because I feel it may be useful to someone here. I don't post often to forums so forgive me if I am out of line.

If you are experiencing slow/weird performance issues with the Artist Control using Eucon 3.1.2 and OS X Mavericks with Protools 10 or Logic Pro X, try the following:



- Open the Apple “Terminal” application



- type:

cd /Applications/Utilities

- press <enter>

- type:



defaults write com.Euphonix.EuControl NSAppSleepDisabled -bool YES



- press <enter>



- Now restart Eucon



Things should behave normally.



The last update should have fixed this..but maybe there is an OS bug that prevents the setting to persist?
