Hi Fellow Avid Users,
I have recently purchased an Fast Track Duo to use with my Monoprice 600800 (MXL 770) but have had trouble getting it to work.
I am using the Fast Track Duo to provide phantom power to the Monoprice 600800 through a XLR to XLR cable. I have turned the phantom power on and the indicator also confirms that I have done so. Unfortunately, the green light for the recognising input does not light up.
I was wondering if anyone could help me. Thank you for your help in advanced.
PS: When i initially plugged the microphone in, when it was not plugged all the way in, the green light would flash on for a split second, but when plugged in all the way never was green. Now it does not even flash green at all when I plug it in (not even when it was partially in for the split second).
Update: When I am really close and make noises the green light turns on. Does the green light only turn on when there is sound? and is there a reasons why the microphone does not pick up anything when I am further (30 cm).
