I have an issue I have tried every which way to Sunday to figure out and would appreciate any ideas from you all.
We have two audio suites, both running PT 11.1.2. They run independent of each other. However, we have an internal network hub that allows both suites to access storage drives as well as a SFX library. Prior to our upgrade, PT 10 had no issues accessing the network drives, which are mapped.
Every other PC application can access the files on the mapped network drive, but PT, when trying to "Import audio," can see the drive but cannot access the media. A "file is unreadable by Pro Tools," error pops up. It cannot import or convert. Additionally, none of the drives show up in the Workspace.
Permissions on the drives are set to allow access and PT is set to run as administrator. As I mentioned every other program can see and access the drives but Pro Tools cannot.
I feel like there is some minor detail that I have missed to fix it, but my brain is fried from trying to figure it out.
Any help, ideas, advice would be much appreciated!!!!!!!!
