I recently purchased a used digid 002 and I have had Pro Tools 10 HD for a while now which, I use to use with an Prosonus AudioBox that I no longer own. I've hooked everything up according to the .pdf manual and what I've read on numerous sites. But i'm obviously not doing something right...
Under "Hardware Setup" in PT the only option listed is ASIO4ALL. Am I worng for thinking my 002 should be listed as well?
I'm not sure what driver I should have installed as the "Digi 002 Family" is no longer a hyperlink on avid. And accessing "Additional Downloads" then "002 and 003 Drivers" under "Windows Releases" all Windows 7 drivers state "Digi 002 Console not supported."
(But I know I read some where, on some forum... Maybe even this one that it is possible to use the 002 despite avids "not supported" claims)
Can someone please, please help, i'm pretty tech savvy but I'm doing something wrong or missing something?
And, i'm aware or the power harness issues but, the local repair place isn't open until Monday and the allowed return time by the merchant I purchased it from is close to expiring. I did speak to the Tech however, and based on our discussion, I honestly don't think that is the issue. Reason being, the 1394 light on the back is lit. But the one on the front does not come one when I open PT. Which also make me think its a driver...
