I am an audio engineering student at IAR. I have been trying to make the transition from Cubase over to Pro tools since that is what I am becoming certified in through school. But much of my hardware is giving me problems when trying to use it on the new DAW. I have a zoom R16 unit I am trying to use as my interface with PT11. It also functions in cubase as a controller. I believe it uses Mackie Control to connect. But at this rate I can't even use it as an interface for PT11. I also have a Korg nanokontrol I could use as a controller provided I could figure out how to set it up correctly. Does any one have any input on any of these matters.
