I finally got a patch bay and can't seem to figure out even the basics, like routing my inputs so that I can hear the guitar, mice, etc.
I have my two main outputs, 1 & 2, going to my monitors directly from the outputs on the back of my Mbox pro.
I ran a patch cable from my 1 input on my Mbox pro, to the input (bottom row) of 1 on the back of the patch bay.
I thought I would then simply plug my guitar cable into the 1 input on the front of the patch bay and the signal would carry through to the connected input on the back, then out to my channel one input on the Mbox pro, but I can't hear anything and see no levels.
To double check I plugged directly into the Mbox channel one, and I can then hear the guitar, so the issue is the routing.
If anyone could provide the "how-to's" on just setting up the inputs/outputs on the Mbox I would really appreciate the help. From there I think I can begin to figure out how to add my other hardware (reverb, compressor, preamp).
I searched YouTube and Google but all the vids were either too advanced or did not cover these very basic steps.
Thanks in advance, had to save up for this rack and patch bay for quite awhile, eager to get it setup:-)
