Just watching some videos done in logic right now where he is using CC 05 (Portamento Time) to control the portamento on a violin phrase. In logic its as easy as clicking on MIDI draw, selecting whichever CC you want to automate, and drawing it in.
This would be really useful for me using CC05 and CC11 for strings, and it seems really easy in Logic. But is this feature available in Pro Tools? I don't care if its as easy as that I just want to be able to do it. In short, am I able to draw in automation for CC commands in Pro Tools? If not, how do I manipulate CC in the box rather than via a midi controller? With that being said, how do I do it with a Midi controller as well? I haven't really looked too much into using CC's until now.
