Hey ya'll. Sorry, if this has been answered. Did a search but couldn't find anything about it.
My house venue has a D-Show at FOH and we commonly use either the Profile or SC48 for monitors. But I also would like to be able to build/edit shows for S3L on my computer for other gigs I might run into outside of my house gig. I've used show files made in Standalone 4.1 on our boards before and it gives a warning message about the file being built on newer software than is on the console, but otherwise everything seems ok. My main question is: Should I be concerned about these messages? Is there any definite reason for not using shows built in 4.1 standalone on non-S3L consoles? Or should I just ignore the message and get on with my life. If there are issues, is there a way to install standalone 4.1 and 3.0 side by side on a windows machine? Any and all constructive thoughts appreciated!
Cheers!
