Solo buttons not functioning?

Hi guys! I'm having an issue with soloing tracks on my artist control. When I hit the solo button on any track, a small symbol appears next to all of the track numbers in the control display. It's a small "cancel" sign (a circle with a line through it). All of my other controls function properly except for those on the fader section of the control surface. Any ideas what could be the problem? I have a feeling they may not be linked to the right commands or something...
