Hey All,
I'm very new to Pro Tools & this forum.
I have a drum pattern that I want to slice into individual drum hits and save these hits a individual files.
Once I slice the drums into individual hits I use Cmd+F to apply a fade to the end of the hit to get rid of any 'click' sound that may be at the end. Then I select that clip from the clip list on the right and 'Export clip as file'.
Problem is when I load that clip back into Pro Tools the fade out is gone. I am wondering if there is a way to add a 'destructive' fade - if that makes sense? So that the fade out remains when I export that clip as a file? Or will I have to apply the same fade every time I want to use that drum hit in a session?
Cheers
