No access to Pro Tools 8LE --> reinstall?

Hi all, here is a dumb question: I moved my commmon files/Digidesing folder to another place on the same PC. This did not work ('no access' message during starting up) and when moving it back to its original place I get the same message, when starting up pro tools. The program then crashes. Should I reinstall or is there another solution? Cheers, R.
