pro tool 8 le crashing shortly after start up

I have a mac mini running 10.8, pt 8 LE , a mbox 2, and an eleven guitar processor. I had to download the newest drivers for PT to recognize the USB port on the mbox. PT starts but within a minute I get the message PT has stopped unexpectedly. I can't get any further so I haven't tried to install the eleven yet. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
