Pro Tools 11 I/O Setup

I don't understand why I have to always go under the I/O setup and hit default on the bus tab every time I open a session. Every time I open a Pro Tools session I get a message that says, "Session Notes: Some bus paths were made inactive because their mapped output paths are unavailable. Please visit the I/O Setup dialog for more information." Then, I go to the bus tab to find out there is some weird mapping going on. For instance, Digital Out L/R mapping to output is "A 7-8 (N/A)" and ReAmp L/R is "A 3/4 (N/A)". I hit default and everything goes to normal, but I have to do this every time. Is there a way to save the defaults? Like default the defaults to default? :-)
