Should Plugins be on your OS hard drive or a spare SSD hd?

Should you put your 3 rd party plugins on your OS drive with Pro Tools or on a seperate SSD hard drive?

Seems like it would be faster and more responsive if it was on a seperate SSD Hard Drive. I've got a lot of 3rd party plugins form Nebula cause there so cheap, and have them on my 500gb OS SSD with pro tools, but sometimes it says memory problems or whatever(can't remember exactly). So was wondering if it would be best for large mixes to put the plugins on a seperate SSD than your OS and Pro Tools? The Nebula plugins are big as well, some of them are like 1.3gb
