this is my first experience with PT. figured i would grab the monthly and see how it goes. i have used from acid to cakewalk but for the last couple of years i been using studio one pro from presonus.
so tell me if i have this wrong... i purchased the PT12... advertised as having over 60 effects and virtual instruments... but PT12 is 64bit and seems a good bit of the plugs are STILL only 32bit and will NOT function in PT12.
installed yesterday. in the downloads it has a demo session you can bring in just to check things out. when i loaded up the demo session i was confronted with a screen saying that certain plugs could not be found. i searched high and low for answers... even re-installed and ran installers as admin to be sure. and STILL the same result. i did find the so-called missing plugins in the x86/avid/plugins folder... but there lies the problem. they are 32bit only it seems.

so i am asking am i missing something and did something wrong (can't seem to find in preferences where you direct to your plugins folders) or am i just to suck it up and wait for who knows how long to use the plugins that were promised? if it is the latter then it seems there is a bit of false advertisement that should be corrected.
don't get me wrong... i am not here to kick the dog. there is enough of that already on these forums. i am just trying to understand. cheers
