I understand and know how to automate native Pro Tools plugins. When you have 3rd party effects plugins, you can automate basic functions such as volume and filter. What I don't know how to do is automate the actual effects of a 3rd party plugin. For example, let's say I was working with an EDM track and wanted glitches, stutters, and stops in certain places of the track. Understanding that the plugin would have to be prepped for it,what would I do in Pro Tools once I got the plugin ready for automation?
