I haven't had that experience yet. The only drawbacks that I have experienced are "learning curve" related. Once I learned a few "equivalent to" applications in workflow, it's working wonderfully for me. I'm wondering it it is the specs of my iMac that is maxed out to 32gb RAM that is helping with that, or the fact that I am only using one group/manufacture of Virtual Instruments and the existing plugins.
Anyway, sorry to hear that so many are having issues, similar to what I experienced with Cubase many years ago.
