Pro Tools doesn't like any other devices eg printer

I'm new to PT and have just got PT 12. I love the software but have found a rather annoying problem.

If I have my wireless printer plugged in and switched on, PT goes slow and "not responding". When I restart with the printer unplugged it's fine.

Any ideas why?
