I'm getting a message that crashes my sessions from time-to-time:
"The process cannot access the file because it si being used by another process (32)"
This usually happens during editing or when punch-recording to extend a voice track. (I do mostly voice over work.)
This behavior has started within the last few weeks after more than a year of flawless operation. Has anyone else see this behavior? Does anyone know why it might be happening or have a solution?
I'm running Pro Tools Express, v10.3.4, on a quad-core Intel processor with 16 GB of RAM and hundreds of GBytes of free disk space on my working drive, which is not my system drive where the Pro Tools program files live.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
