I have Pro Tools Express, otherwise known as Pro Tools v10.3.4. Can I upgrade to Pro Tools 10.3.10 for free?
Is this a case where Pro Tools 10 is "generic", with the limited capabilities of my specific Pro Tools product (plenty for my voice over work) determined by some hidden/encrypted capabilities file?
This would be a replay of an old computer industry trick where when you paid to add a new feature to your mainframe computer, a tech would come out and cut a jumper wire that enabled that new feature that was actually built in all along. The upside for Avid is that this would keep their product matrix much smaller.
