Wich update should we try

Hey there...,



We own an old MBox2 with Pto Tools 7.4.

that PT was running back in the days on an old macbook.



Now we want to use it on an PC with WinXP and with Motu Interfaces.



Wich Pro Tools do we need to have a PT Version wich runs on a PC and wich runs with Hardware wich is not Digiodesign or M-Audio.



The PC isnt that fast....so it could be usefull to have not the latest Pro Tools Version...



I know that Pro Tools 9 is running with other Interfaces...is it running on PC`s too?

Is it still possible to update it to 8 or 9 or 10, or is it only possible to update to the latest version?
