Bounce with hardware PT 11 LE

Need help with bounce procedure....I am using PT 11 LE / dual quad Mac Pro. and hardware comp. I have to record enable the comp track to be able to mix. I tried Bouncing to disk. Yes in real time. Message saying I can't bounce with record enabled track. I took it off record and bounced in real time. The comp looked like it was working as the song played. I also made a MP3 file to listen to in iTunes. Everything looked good, except the file wouldn't play. No problems with other tunes. Yes the ouputs were A1-2 etc. I couldn't find any reason for a 9M Mp3 that would not play. I have all tracks bussed to the Compressor tracks and then Bussed to another Aux for more processing.....then to the Master Fader with another limiter.
I'm obviously doing something incorrectly. Any ideas? Something with the Hardware ? HELP .....
