Hello there,
anyone an idea on that one?
How to Temporarily Suspend Track/s from Group and/ or VCA Automation?
I tried to write volume automation to all members of a group - with or without VCA master - exept one (or some) track that should be temporarily suspended on an automation record path.
If i get it right PT 11.3.0 offers the opposite:
"Temporarily Isolating Control of an Item from Group Operation
You can temporarily isolate control of a group item from group operation by Right-clicking on the item.
You can also temporarily suspend group behavior for a track by Control-clicking (Mac) or Start-clicking (Windows) a group function."
But that seems to need to (control-) move/ touch the actual fader of the track to be suspended. Which makes it impossible to move the VCA master fader at the same time?
I would like to have a button/ shortcut that just sets the channel out of the group temporally, without having to go via group-dialog-window every time.
Is there a trick or is it not provided?
Thanks & regards
Hans
