Any way to open multiple plugins with one click?

Let say you have a particular plugin in slot 1 on 16 channels
Is there any way to open all 16 with one click?
(selecting all 16 tracks and doing opt+Shift click on plugin doesn't do it :-)
I swear I have had this by accident but can't reconstruct it.

FWIW - I am wanting to open 16 Waves StudioRacks at once so I can go through them and close them one at a time...
