PT 12.2.1.??? -> PT 12.3.0.241
App Mgr ? -> 2.2.4.6575
Things I've encountered with App Manager.
1) New Install of PT 12.2.1 last week.
- App Mgr seem to be working before restart.
- Downloaded all Apps and were showing in App Mgr.
- Restarted Windows and Apps disappeared.
- May have tried a few things trying to trouble shoot here - not sure I remember all.
- Got stuck in "Connecting..." for what seemed too long.
- Deleted Cookies in Browser.
- Shutdown Windows and Restart
- Apps reappeared.
2) Update to PT 12.3
- App Manager was not showing any update for PT 12.3.
- Asked it to resync - still not showing any update to 12.2.1.
- Tried logging out, but seemed not to work - reopening did not ask for login.
- Went to My Avid and downloaded 12.3 installer and ran.
- Restarted Windows
- Opened PT and about function shows 12.3.
- App Mgr acting like still logged in after restart (I think).
- App Mgr now showing No Subscriptions and No Apps. Licencing was there.
- Shutdown Windows and restarted.
- App Manager now showing Apps, Licencing, but no subscriptions.
- Asked it to resync - no subscriptions.
- Asked it to logout and it did logout. Asked for login when reopened.
- Now showing Subscription, Apps, and Licencing.
3) Other:
-Resync seems to take about 10 minutes to report no updates. (This seems slow but might be OK. I have: 1 PT Subscription, 1 PT App, 26 Plugins (App Mgr, Codecs, DX Driver, Eleven, Eleven Rack Driver, Air Effects Bundle, Air Instrument Bundle, 17 PT Stomp Box, Space, XPand II), 1 PT Licence)
- There's no "About ..." function for App Mgr. I know App Mgr is in the plug in
list, but when the App Mgr shows NO Plugins, it's a bit hard to tell you what V.M.R.F I'm running.
-Logout function is grayed out while syncing - if hangs here you're stuck.
