I'm mostly mixing televison and when I get a session most of the dialog is half faded. Most of the fades are done to comp words together but most of the tops and ends of the clips are not faded. Sometimes if there are two clips together but not comped for a dialog line then it's not cross faded. As far as I know there is no way to batch fade while ignoring already rendered fades. Batch fading is great but if there are already fades that are in the clips that were specifically created and I can't ignore them then the batch fading doesn't help much. Is there a way to ignore those fades and have the batch fading create the rest?
