Hi all. Apologies if this has been covered before... Apparently I'm eligible for a $199 upgrade to PT 12 until Dec. 31st. I'm considering it, but I have a question about surrendering my current license...
I have a mid-2010 Mac Pro with two boot drives. One runs Mac OS 10.7.5 and Pro Tools 10. It's entirely stable and functional and I don't want to mess with it. I've installed El Capitan on the second boot drive (I know, no support yet). What I'd like to do is install PT 12 on the El Capitan drive and leave my nice, functional PT 10/OS 10.7.5 installation alone. So the bit about surrendering my current license gives me pause.
Am I just thick? can anyone clarify this for me?
