Avid Transport Jog/Shuttle

Hi, quite new user of this nice peace of hardware. I use this for NLE. Programing for my needs quite work good. But what i did not found in manual and internet is:

Is there a way to configure the Jog and shuttle Wheel to different actions?

I tried to do this using different softbuttons and add different actions(commands) but this does not work
