Hey guys, currently doing some small scale recording. A lot of midi with Omnisphere, Reason, etc.
Cutting some vocal sessions that may or may not use Auto Tune during recording.
Also doing some mixing of larger sessions 48-80 tracks.
With this in mind is Pro Tools 12HD really needed? A lot of HD features are in vanilla currently. The system is a 5,1 Mac Pro 8-core (16) and things are currently running super smooth. I just am wondering if the jump to HD would be worth it. Coming from PT9 HD and test driving Native has been pretty smooth so far with Disk Cache and full 64bit support. Just not sure if I'm overlooking something. Thanks guys!
