Mini Grand VI in PT11 sustain pedal problem

I hooked up an old Kurzweil keyboard through midi to my Steinberg UR22... Had no problem getting sounds, but I couldn't get my sustain pedal to work (had to do it manually on PT). Any suggestions? I also hooked it up to the DB-33 flawlessly and was able to use a few of the "zone" controls on the keyboard to control the drawbars. Any suggestions on the sustain pedal for the Mini Grand? How about changing the "zone" controls to other drawbars on the DB33? I know it's an older keyboard, but my newer ones are at the club at my house gig.
