I'm using a Pro Tools 10 together with the external soundcard MBOX2 (Windows 7). I has been working OK until very recently. A couple of days ago Pro Tools just stopped working together with MBOX2. When I use Asio4All, everything works good but as soon as I switch over to MBOX2, all I hear is a scratching sound and the counting of the songs moves very jumpy (stands still then moves forward, stands still then moves forward, and so on). Moreover, after I have tried to use the MBOX2 together with Pro Tools (as described) it (MBOX2) won’t work with any computer program until I reinstall its driver. Then it works fine until I try to use it with Pro Tools…
Just before this happened, there were some unusual complains about to low CPU, which I could fix by changing the CPU-settings in Pro Tools. Don’t know if that could have anything to do with the later problem?
I am thankful for any help. I have tried to reinstall Pro Tools but maybe I must als unistall plugins aor even reistall windows?
