Problems with First

So I downloaded Pro Tools First a few days ago, and well...I can't say I'm satisfied. I've been having a lot of issues.

First of all, I'd like to point out that I'm very interested in purchasing the full version of Pro Tools as it seems to meet all my needs. I'm an amateur musician who writes, records and mixes rock music. A little electronic stuff here and there, but I have FL Studio for that!

Here are my problems:

• My audio interface is a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 and I've read that there are some incompatabilities with the USB3 ports and Pro Tools. [/*]
• In Pro Tools itself, I've been messing around with the playback engine optimization. It seems to not play any audio when it's set to Record, and sometimes when switching between the two the program crashes or even BSODs. [/*]
• The recording hasn't very good--I've been DIing my guitar into my 2i4 just to test it out and anything I record has a delay. There's the original signal and then a repeat maybe a tenth of a second later. This is the main issue, as I'm going to be doing a lot of recording and I obviously can't have that.[/*]
• Overall there's been a lot of errors and such (namely problems with the audio interface and "there was an error posting the project" when trying to open a file).[/*]

If anyone knows if these are due to flaws in myself, the interface, First, or Pro Tools itself, that would be greatly appreciated. I'd love to get this working properly, as it's just what I'm looking for.
