Hey all. I've got an odd issue with PT11 I can't work out.
I've got a session which is pretty heavy with the amount of plugins that I'm using. When I try to open that session, I get errors to...varying degrees EITHER:
#1) It works fine (very rare)
#2) I get a message that says iLok doesn't have permission to run Reason via Rewire (often)
#3) I get a message saying that iLok doesn't have permission to run Reason, plus a whole bunch of other plugins. The plugins that it decides it cannot run is random.
The exact error message is:
"The licensing service required to activate this software is not running. Please reinstall the product or download and run the latest iLok License Manager here:"
Based on that message, I've tried 3 things:
#1) Reinstalling Pro-Tools 11. I did a total uninstall (as in deleted all the folders as well as the uninstaller)
#2) Reinstalled the iLok manager (running the latest version)
#3) Booted up iLok, signed in, then tried to open the project
#4) Reinstalled all of my plugins (yeah...that sucked)
And I'm still getting that error. What's tricky is that it changes which plugins it won't run each time I open it. So I doubt it's a problem with any of my plugins (especially after re-installing)
If it's any help, I'm getting AAE error 7054.
Computer setup:
Processor: 2600k i7
16GB RAM
Win 10 64 bit
Interface: RME UCX
Edit: Forgot to mention, the iLok is plugged in, lit up blue and never gets bumped\moved or anything. Also, things work pretty damn good after I reset the PC.
