Hi guys,
I cross-posted this over on GS but then realised this might be a better place to start. Apologies if you end up reading this twice!
This has got me stumped... Maybe someone can help with a simple how-to?
I've tracked the basics of an album in PT, some songs to click some free-form, and then export them to Logic for further work.
I'm trying to beat-map the free-form versions within Logic but Logic's tempo mapping is pretty hit and miss and I'm hoping that if I can generate Bar Beat marker information in Pro Tools and import that into the Logic session it'll be a little more spot on?
I've tried two things but seemingly to no avail:
1. Exported a .grv file (Pro Tools Groove) but unless I'm missing something Logic can't open this.
2. I've exported a midi file but other than exporting a few random little synth noodlings I've done while tracking nothing else seems to be exported/imported?
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance!
R.
