Digi 002 Hardware not detected/IMac 10.6.8!!!

I recently got a used Digi 002. I use an IMac 10.6.8 and installed protools Le 7.4.2, also installed protools 7.4.2cs4 update and the stand alone core driver. When I turn on the Digi-- the mute button comes on and the green light is on for the sample rate. When I try to load protools it says "Hardware undetected" In my IMac preference pane under "other" the Digidedesign Mbox 2 and Digidesign Mbox 2 Pro Icons show up there but when I click on it its all grayed-out so that I can click it.



Is there any advice on what I could do to get the digi 002 working with protools and my IMac 10.6.8?



Also, are there any other drivers or updates I would need to install?



Do I need any special type of firewire cable?
