I don't deal with VI's often, so I've run into a pretty big conundrum here.
I've played a long single midi note in Pro Tools on an instrument track with Massive loaded up on it's default blank preset. I want to be able to automate the pitch so I can go up say a fifth, then down a half step, then up 6 steps, etc. But anytime I set assign oscillator 1 pitch bend (only using 1) to a Macro in massive, and then automate the macro, it gives me insane decimal values from 0 to 1 that turn the macro all the way up or down. Meaning I can't accurately automate to a specific note (like G#). The same thing happens when I automate the OSC1 PITCH parameter in massive. Is there nothing to be done to have an automated pitch with gridded steps 1-12? I don't need to plot points on any microtones here. This seems very basic.
Any help is widely appreciated.
